However, DHI has been out for over a decade. Therefore, people often ask me if it’s still worth buying. I have both. Parfum is deeper, darker, more complex and more potent but that doesn’t necessarily mean better. I prefer Homme Intense a bit more because it’s just right, even prefer it to regular Homme. Also, DHI can be used for cooler summer nights but cloying in the heat where as parfum would suffocate you.The new Dior Homme is created by Dior in-house perfumer Francois Demachy who wanted to redefine masculine sensuality. The fragrance is intensely woody, warm, and sensual. A virile accord of Atlas cedar and the warmth of cashmere wood are pampered with spicy aromas.
